About
Help Us Grow Our Garden—Bring Your Food Scraps! At Little Garden Learning Center, we love teaching children how to care for the Earth and honor God’s creation. As part of our garden program, we maintain an active compost system that turns food scraps into healthy soil for our plants—and we’d love your help! Families are invited to bring in compostable food waste from home to support our garden. This is a great way to involve your child in sustainable living and help them see how little things grow into big blessings. You can bring: Fruit & vegetable scraps (peels, cores, etc.) Coffee grounds & filters Tea bags (no staples) Eggshells (rinsed if possible) Bread, rice, and grains (in small amounts) Please do not bring: Meat or bones Dairy products (milk, cheese, yogurt, etc.) Oily or greasy foods Plastic, foil, or trash Pet waste Feel free to use a small sealed container ,compostable bag or one of our compost home bins, and we’ll take care of the rest! Thank you for helping us grow a greener, faith-filled space for our children.
